First launch

  1. Unpack into any folder, not inside the game folder. Keep Aimloom.exe next to its scripts folder.
  2. Double-click Aimloom.exe. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway: Aimloom has no code-signing certificate yet.
  3. PowerShell 7 is required. Without it the app shows the install command: winget install --id Microsoft.PowerShell in Terminal.
  4. Aimloom finds KovaaK by itself. If it cannot, choose the folder that holds FPSAimTrainer (Steam → Manage → Browse local files).
  5. On the left are Profile and the four pages: background, sounds, crosshair and enemy look. The interface is in Chinese, so this guide describes each button by what it does and where it sits.

Select, preview, apply

On the background, sound and enemy pages, selecting only previews. The apply button at the bottom right of the page is what writes to the game, after a backup. Close KovaaK first; the change shows the next time it starts. The crosshair page has no apply button: it writes from the sheet you open, and the crosshair in use is chosen in the game.

Adding your own files

On the background or enemy page use the add theme button, on the sound page the add sound button, or drag the file into the window; a crosshair PNG goes onto the crosshair page. Nothing is written until you confirm in the sheet that opens: the file is copied as it is, never over an existing one, and can be undone. After adding, the page's apply button is still what puts it in use; a crosshair is chosen in the game's settings.

Choose the crosshair in the game

The crosshair page replaces or adds PNG files in the crosshairs folder. Which crosshair you use is chosen in the game's crosshair settings; replacing changes an existing file's image and keeps its name.

Backup and undo

Every write is backed up first, and the state before your first change is kept for good (the first-protection state). The restore button at the bottom left of the window undoes a particular write or returns to that state. Backups live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Aimloom\backups, apart from the game folder.

Common problems

  • PowerShell 7 not found: run winget install --id Microsoft.PowerShell in Terminal, then reopen Aimloom.
  • The game is running: quit KovaaK completely and retry. Aimloom never force-closes the game.
  • Anything else: when you report it, include a screenshot, VERSION.txt from the app folder and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Aimloom\logs\worker.log.
